Provides age-specific pharmaceutical care and clinical services within assigned patient care areas. Responsibilities include managing medication orders, preparing sterile products, and contributing to departmental quality assurance goals.
Requires a Bachelor of Science or Doctor of Pharmacy degree and at least one year of hospital pharmacy experience. Must possess or be eligible for an active, unrestricted pharmacy license in the appropriate state.
Provides age-specific pharmaceutical care and basic clinical services for assigned patient care areas. Contributes to goals, programs, QA, PI and other activities for their unit/department/hospital. Performs other duties as assigned.
One year of hospital pharmacy experience.
Bachelor of Science (B.S.) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.).
Basic computer literacy and communication skills. Cognitive ability to interpret and understand written medication orders and reference materials; accuracy and attention to detail required.
Current, active, unrestricted pharmacy licensure for appropriate state or eligibility for licensure. Must acquire licensure within 120 days of hire date. PHARMACIST-FOR APPROPRIATE STATE
