The Certified Nurse Practitioner is responsible for conducting history and physical examinations and medical consultations for psychiatric inpatients. They manage the medical care of patients while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, nurses, and therapists.
Candidates must be Board Certified by the AANP or as a CNP and hold an active Ohio nursing license. Experience working with medically complex psychiatric patients is preferred.

Board Certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or Certified Nurse Practitioner (CNP) Active Ohio nursing license or eligibility to obtain licensure Experience or comfort working with medically complex psychiatric patients preferred Growth & Development Opportunities for leadership roles and clinical mentorship Ongoing professional development, training, and potential academic involvement Skills & Competencies: Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills in psychiatric care. Knowledge of evidence-based treatments for mental health and substance use disorders. Ability to establish rapport with diverse patient populations, including those with co-occurring disorders. Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Commitment to patient-centered and trauma-informed care This individual must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Diplomacy and discretion are essential, as well as excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple projects. Professional demeanor and appearance required.
