• Travel Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) - Long Term Care (LTC) (Days) Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) - Long Term Care (LTC) for a 13-week travel assignment in Snyder, TX.
• Contract Details Days, 8 hr days - 40 hrs guaranteed Start Date: 6/15/2026 Contract: 13 weeks Location: Snyder, TX Hourly Pay: $ 22.00 Non-taxed Stipend: $735.00 Weekly Total Pay: $1395.50 State License Requirements: Texas/Compact Allowed Key Responsibilities: Treatment Implementation: Executes specialized therapy plans designed by the OT, guiding patients through therapeutic exercises and activities to improve motor skills and coordination.
• ADL Training: Teaches patients how to perform Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, and eating, often using adaptive techniques.
• Adaptive Equipment: Instructs patients and families on how to use special tools like reachers, mobility aids, or modified kitchen utensils.
• Monitoring and Documentation: Records detailed notes on patient progress, behavioral changes, and safety concerns, reporting these findings to the supervising OT to adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Education and Support: Provides emotional encouragement to patients and trains caregivers on how to assist with home programs.
• Operational Tasks: Prepares treatment areas, cleans equipment, and may handle administrative duties like scheduling and billing.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

• Must have 2 years OTA experience in LTC setting is required TX or compact license is required DOR experience is preferred Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently Strong communication, professionalism, and reliability
• Compliance/Screening (Pre-Start): Drug screen and background check (facility required) Additional facility onboarding forms as assigned
