The Orthopedic Medical Assistant is responsible for guiding patients, managing EMR intake, and coordinating surgical orders and diagnostic tests. They also handle patient follow-ups and demonstrate the proper use of durable medical equipment.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and be a graduate of an accredited CNA, CMA, or Ortho Tech program. Preferred qualifications include over one year of medical office experience and proficiency with Epic EMR.
