The technician is responsible for cleaning, sterilizing, and maintaining surgical instruments and equipment to ensure patient safety. They also manage sterilization records and collaborate with the operating room team to prepare case carts.
A high school diploma is required, and certification from CBSPD or IAHCSMM is preferred. Previous experience in sterile processing or central supply is strongly desired.
