Independently manage full-scope midwifery care in an outpatient clinic and provide leadership and clinical coverage on Labor & Delivery. Responsibilities include triaging emergent obstetric patients and providing first assist surgical support.
Requires active RN and APRN licenses in Texas and AMCB certification, along with NRP and BLS certifications. Preference is given to candidates with 2 years of experience in hospital-based intrapartum and postpartum management.
Experience in managing intrapartum, postpartum, and OB triage in a hospital setting (2 yrs experience preferred) Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative OB/CNM practice Strong communication skills and intrapersonal skills Value patient preferences/choice, shared decision making, and a holistic care approach Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date Active certification with AMCB Current RN and APRN license in TX Additional certifications in Obstetric Ultrasound, Advanced Fetal Monitoring, and/or Lactation consultation are preferred
