Supports orthodontic care by preparing treatment rooms, instruments, and materials while assisting the doctor during procedures. Responsibilities include taking x-rays, charting patient treatment plans, and instructing patients on oral hygiene.
Requires X-Ray, BLS, and Infection Control certifications, along with a Dental Practice Act certification. Preferred qualifications include certification from a dental college or three to six months of related experience.

include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Assists the doctor in orthodontic procedures Takes x-rays Takes IO's Assist in Prophylaxis cleaning of teeth Instructs patients on oral hygiene Charts cavities and teeth with doctor Sterilizes instruments Sets up/breakdown and prepares rooms for treatment Charting of patient's treatment and treatment plan with doctor
Education and/or Experience: Certification from a dental college OR three to six months related experience and/or training OR equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: X-Ray certification BLS certification 8-hour Infection Control certification required 2-hour Dental Practice Act
