The Physical Therapy Assistant performs physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist and communicates progress to staff. They may also assist with the supervision of PTA students and maintain departmental supplies.
Candidates must have a Missouri Physical Therapist Assistant License and strong verbal and written communication skills. An associate degree from an accredited program and one year of hospital experience are preferred.

May assist with supervision of PTA students. Maintains equipment and departmental supplies. Minimum Requirements Missouri Physical Therapist Assistant License Verbal and written communication skills required to discuss and document treatment programs and work issues Physical ability to teach and demonstrate locomotor skills, gross and fine-motor skills. Must maintain certification in BCLS for continued employment.
