Implement technical components of patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse. Follow established policies, procedures, and protocols within the operating room.
Requires a one-year certificate from a college or technical school, or 1-2 years of related experience. Must be BLS certified and knowledgeable in surgical asepsis principles.
The OR Support Tech is responsible for the implementation of technical components of patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse according to policy, procedure and protocol.
One year certificate from college or technical school; or 1 to 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience BLS certified. Knowledge of procedures, able to apply principles and practices of surgical asepsis.
This is a part-time position.
