White Oak Medical Center seeks to hire an experienced Certified Sterile Processing Technician for our Operating Room who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing. As a Certified Sterile Processing Technician, you will:
Disassembles, cleans, assembles, sterilizes and stores procedure trays instruments, equipment and supplies according to prescribed procedures and aseptic techniques under direct supervision
Completes requests to dispense equipment and supplies and assists in maintaining and processing patient charge records and maintaining department inventory Qualifications include:
High School Diploma or GED required
At least 1 year experience in a Sterile Processing department preferred
Certification from an accredited organization
Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Work Schedule:
Employment Type: Full-time
Hours per Week: 40 hrs/week
Typical Daily Schedule: flexible shift, which may include a mid-shift (12:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.) or afternoon shift (3:00 p.m. – 11:30 p.m.) Advanced notice will be given for shift schedule.
Shift Type: Evening
Weekend Requirements: every other weekend rotation
Holiday Requirements: every other holiday rotation
Shift Differential eligible: yes Pay Range: $20.07 - $26.42 If the salary range is listed as $0 or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.
