The clinician provides emergency psychiatric assessments and crisis interventions for adults and children in the Emergency Department. They collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans and ensure safe patient stabilization.
Requires a Master's degree in Social Work or Mental Health with LCSW-C or LCPC licensure. Candidates must have at least one year of emergency department experience and two years of clinical behavioral health experience.

What to expect.
The Crisis Assessment Clinician provides emergency psychiatric services to adults and children presenting to the GBMC Emergency Department. This role delivers comprehensive psychiatric assessments, crisis interventions, and collaborative care planning for patients with behavioral health needs, including mental health and substance use disorders. The clinician works both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team—including physicians, nurses, and other behavioral health staff—to ensure safe, patient-centered care, while maintaining compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.
The pay range for this position is $40/hourly minimum to $47/hourly maximum. Pay for this position is determined on a number of factors, including but not limited to, board certifications and years and level of related experience.
