Provide essential in-home support including household duties, meal preparation, and shopping. Assist participants with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and the use of personal support equipment.
Candidates must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license and auto insurance. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs independently and obtain required FBI and ACT 33/34 clearances is mandatory.
accessAbilities, a local Human Services agency, is hiring compassionate and caring, part-time staff to assist individuals with In Home Caregiver services in the Ligonier, PA area for our Home & Community services program.
In Home Caregivers (also known as Attendants) support participants with household duties and personal care services. Staff assist with laundry, housekeeping, shopping and preparing meals, and help with errands. Duties also include transfers from/to bed, bathing, dressing, grooming and assisting with personal support equipment such as wheelchairs, manual/electric lifts, and leg braces, etc.
We offer Flexible Hours and Shifts.
No experience is necessary. Paid training is provided.
Prior experience as a direct care aide or home health aide is helpful.
