The Family Resource Navigator provides supportive case management and crisis intervention for families utilizing the Crisis Nursery. Responsibilities include conducting needs assessments, facilitating community resource referrals, and coordinating service plans.
Candidates should have an Associate's degree in Human Services with one year of experience, though a Bachelor's degree is preferred. A valid driver's license and proficiency in Microsoft Office are required.

During a crisis, such as an accident, sudden illness, or housing emergency, a caregiver can bring their children to the Crisis Nursery or Owen House. Staff provides free, temporary, professional care to birth to 14 years old. The Crisis Nursery Family Resource Navigator will provide supportive case management service to families utilizing the program. They will conduct a needs assessment for families interested in receiving case management services. The Family Resource Navigator will assist clients with referrals to community resources.
Full time. Day and evening hours
Crisis intervention and response Outreach, screening, intake and assessment Coordination, development, implementation, ongoing assessment of family's case management needs, service and plans Referral readiness, information and facilitation Transporting program participants, as required Case management Required Qualifications: Associate's Degree in Human Services or related field AND 1 year related experience OR equivalent / Bachelor's Degree preferred A valid drivers license A Telephone Skills: Strong problem solving and decision-making skills Case management techniques and interventions Knowledge of community resources knowledge of risk reduction and protective factors knowledge of family service systems Strong literacy and communication skills Strong communication, time management and multi-tasking skills Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Advanced knowledge of Internet Explorer Pay Rate: $19- $21 per hour *All Offers may be contingent on a Background check and Driving record & Automobile insurance that meets agency insurance carrier requirements.
