Assist individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities in achieving daily, weekly, and monthly living goals within a residential setting. Responsibilities include helping with cooking, laundry, art projects, and overcoming personal obstacles.
Candidates must be at least 19 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent. A valid driver's license, a safe and insured vehicle, a cleared background check, and a passed drug test are required.
Description Life Skills Coaches are residential based and assist individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities to reach daily, weekly, and monthly living goals.
This looks like cooking a meal for their housemates, completing their own laundry, choosing and completing an art project, etc.
If you are kind, enjoy the company of others, and watching individuals achieve goals they set and even help them overcome obstacles, this might be the right fit for you. Must be able to transport in your own vehicle as needed.
Saturday & Sunday 7 am - 3 pm Thursday & Friday 4 pm - 7 pm
Sunday 9 pm - 9 am, Monday - Wednesday 11 pm - 9 am Graveyard is an 100% awake shift
