The role involves providing direct clinical care, including assessments and medication management for consumers with mental illness and developmental disabilities. Additionally, the practitioner provides health and wellness education to patients, families, and staff.
Candidates must be a licensed Nurse Practitioner in Michigan. A minimum of three years of experience working with children facing mental health or developmental challenges is required.

· Responsible for direct clinical care including assessments, medication management, medication administration, treatment planning and coordination of care for consumers with mental illness, intellectual and developmental disabilities, and substance use disorders · Provides education on medication, wellness and health issues to consumers, providers, family members and staff
· Licensed by the Michigan Department of Commerce or Professional Regulation as a Nurse Practitioner · Three or more years’ experience as a nurse working with children with mental illness, substance use, intellectual or developmental disabilities · Excellent computer and interpersonal skills, punctuality, ability to organize and manage several projects/tasks simultaneously and work independently #Z
