Provide basic patient care activities and non-professional services to ensure patient comfort. Assist nursing staff in the Surgery Department with daily patient needs.
A high school diploma is required, and completion of a nurse aide training program is preferred. Candidates must possess BLS certification and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
St. Mary's Medical Center is currently seeking a Casual Nurse Aide for our Surgery Department. To assist in providing basic patient care activities for which employee has been prepared as well as non-professional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients.
High School diploma or equivalent required. Successful completion of nurse aide training program preferred
Experience preferred, but not required.
Verbal ability required to communicate with patients and understand instructions received from nursing staff; manual dexterity required to use hands easily and skillfully while aiding patients. BLS required.
