The Nurse Intern will assist in the delivery of patient care within the Tele 1 Department. All duties are performed under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Candidates must be currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of an approved nursing school. BLS certification and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff are required.
St. Mary's Medical Center is seeking a Nurse Intern for our Tele 1 Department. The Nurse Intern will assist in the delivery of patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
Documental proficiency of basic technical skills and current enrollment in an approved school of nursing or a graduate from an approved school of nursing in the process of receiving a temporary permit.
Each Nurse Intern (RN) must work a minimum twenty hours a week. Individual exceptions may be made by the Clinical Manager related to school and clinical schedules.
BLS required. Verbal ability required to communicate with patients and understand instructions received from nursing staff; manual dexterity required to use hands easily and skillfully while aiding patients.
Certified Residential Medication Aide/Personal Support Specialist (CRMA/PSS)
Domestic and Sexual Violence Counselor
State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA)
Wound care Registered Nurse, RN or LPN
Ophthalmic Technician
Resident Care Associate
