The Clinical Documentation Specialist RN reviews inpatient medical records to ensure documentation accurately reflects patient severity and risk of mortality. They collaborate with providers and coding staff to facilitate corrections and ensure accurate reimbursement and outcome reporting.
Requires a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, a current Washington RN license, and at least five years of RN experience with three years in acute care or case management. BLS certification is required, and CCDS certification or a Master's degree is desired.
$48.66 - $77.84 per hour
