Responsibilities

• Assists Pharmacist in filling, compounding, and dispensing physician orders.
• Performs various technical duties involved with the handling, packaging, and delivery of pharmaceuticals.
• The Pharmacy Tech II demonstrates proficiency to practice in two (2) or more specific pharmacy function areas (production/distribution, oncology, inventory management, narcotics, nursery, surgery, compounding and home care/outpatient).
• Provides patient care services to neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
• The Pharmacy Tech will be working 32h/week , 8-10h shifts.

Qualifications

Required

• Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Georgia.
• One (1) year of experience as a
• Pharmacy
• Technician
• PREFERRED: Certified Pharmacy Technician through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or National Healthcareer Association (NHA).
