The MH Respite Care Provider will provide supervision and care to individuals experiencing a mental health crisis. Respite will apply crisis intervention principles as appropriate throughout their shifts and responsible for preparing necessary documentation. DSP I is required to attend meetings and training programs relevant to the position. EDUCATION, TRAINING, & EXPERIENCE Graduation from a high school or G.E.D. required. Some college or degree in psychology/sociology preferred. Experience in the mental health field is preferred. REQUIREMENTS Valid Texas Driver’s License required. Must not have more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years. Must be insurable and remain insurable on Center’s insurance. Must be able to pass a background check. SHIFT Permanent part-time weekend position available only. Saturday and Sunday, 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. With the possibility of overtime.
