Description The Case Aide Intake Coordinator plays a critical role in the delivery of NYC Preventive Services, serving as the initial point of contact for families referred through the New York City Administration for Children’s Services (ACS) and community partners. The position supports family engagement, intake completion, and linkage to concrete services in alignment with Family Connections, OCFS regulations, and NYC child welfare practice standards. The Case Aide Intake Coordinator works closely with the Program Director, Case Planners, and supervisory staff to ensure appropriate program utilization, accurate and timely documentation, and full compliance with ACS and agency standards. This collaboration supports child safety, permanency, and family well-being while preventing unnecessary foster care placement.

You must have: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred. 2–5 years of experience in NYC Preventive Services, foster care, or child welfare settings. Knowledge of ACS Prevention Intake processes strongly preferred. Availability for evenings and occasional weekends. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge of PROMIS and CONNECTIONS or ability to learn quickly. Strong documentation, communication, organizational, and time management skills. Ability to travel within New York City boroughs.
