The CNA is responsible for documenting patient activities and observing biophysical, cognitive, and emotional needs. They also handle clerical tasks and process physician orders under the supervision of a registered nurse.
Candidates must hold a valid California CNA certificate or be currently enrolled in an accredited RN program with completed Nursing Fundamentals. Current BLS certification is required, and CPI or NCI certification must be obtained within 120 days of hire.
