Requires a High School Diploma or GED and basic computer skills. Candidates must complete certification coursework within two years of hire and maintain 12 annual CE credits.

Perform thorough cleaning, decontamination, and inspection of medical instruments and equipment. Properly wrap, package, and label items according to sterilization standards and departmental protocols. Operate sterilization equipment to ensure all instruments are processed safely and effectively. Maintain organized storage areas and ensure sterilized supplies, instruments, and equipment are accurately tracked, stored, and delivered to clinical departments in a timely manner to support patient care.
