The role involves the gross description and complete dissection of surgical specimens and the selection of tissue sections for microscopic examination. Additionally, the position includes instructing students and residents in pathology and managing specimen storage and records.
A Master's Degree as a Pathologists' Assistant and 1-2 years of related experience are required. Candidates must possess extensive knowledge of human anatomy, tumor staging, and medical terminology.
