Responsible for the diagnostic, evaluative, and therapeutic procedures for the treatment of patients disabled by illness or injury. Provides speech and language treatments to patients as prescribed by a licensed physician.
One year of work experience in an acute hospital setting is preferred, along with experience in diagnosing and treating swallow disorders. A Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology and a license to practice in California are required.
