The clinician is responsible for completing comprehensive ASAM assessments and determining eligibility for substance abuse programming. They deliver clinical interventions for high-risk patients and facilitate prevention groups within a therapeutic environment.
Candidates must hold active LPC or LSW licenses in addition to a CADC certification. Experience in acute care, inpatient SUD settings, and proficiency with EMR systems is preferred.

The Clinician, Substance Use Disorder is responsible for completing comprehensive assessments, coordinating care, and determining eligibility for patients meeting substance abuse programming criteria. Key Responsibilities: Complete comprehensive ASAM 4 Level of Care Assessments and ensure accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical records system. Complete general substance abuse assessments for ages 12 and up based on need. Deliver clinical interventions for acute and high-risk substance use disorder patients and communicate updates to the treatment team. Utilize a harm reduction approach to support patient engagement and safety when appropriate. Participate in team meetings to assist with growth, ongoing training and department development. Facilitate a few substances use prevention groups and provide coverage as needed for substance abuse programming.
