Locum MD (Medical Doctor), DO (Osteopathic Doctor) Ob/Gyn

This contract position is on-site, offering a unique opportunity to provide high-quality healthcare in a supportive and collaborative environment.

As a Locum Ob/Gyn, you will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive care to our patients, including prenatal, delivery, and postnatal services. You will work closely with a team of experienced healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients and their families.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality obstetric and gynecological care to patients Conduct routine examinations, prenatal care, and deliveries Diagnose and treat a variety of women's health issues Collaborate with healthcare staff to develop treatment plans Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Participate in patient education and counseling Respond to emergencies and provide appropriate interventions Stay updated with the latest advancements in Ob/Gyn practices

Requirements

MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Current medical license to practice in the state Completion of residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology Strong clinical skills and experience in patient care Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and patient privacy Availability to work flexible hours as needed

Schedule

• Thursday-Sunday (7:30p-7:30a), 2 weekends per month
• Covering
• L&D,
• ED, and
• GYN inpatients
• Required
• Skillsets: Low-risk pregnancy, high-risk pregnancy, OB ultrasounds, routine and complicated deliveries,
• VBACs, surgical gynecology, and procedures
• Will supervise
• CNM
• EMR: Cerner Must be board-certified Paid travel & expenses
