The Medical Assistant provides clinical support in a multidisciplinary heart failure clinic, focusing on patient rooming and diagnostic tests. Key duties include performing blood draws and point-of-care testing to assist the cardiovascular team.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and completion of a competency-based medical assistant training program. BLS certification is required within 90 days, and a recognized MA certification (CMA, RMA, CCMA, NCMA, or NRCMA) is required within 120 days.
