The Family Nurse Practitioner will perform patient history and physical examinations, monitor patient treatment under the supervision of the Medical Director, and document medical progress. They will also write orders for laboratory work and medication, advise patients on medication usage, and participate in clinical staffing.
Candidates must have Nurse Practitioner Certification and a current Registered Nurse State license. A minimum of one year in chemical dependency treatment is preferred, along with proof of malpractice insurance and the ability to assist patients physically.

1. Must be able to stand continuously in increments of 45 minutes to 1 hour. 2. Must be able to physically assist a disoriented or intoxicated patient of average weight of 140-170 lbs from the floor to a chair or bed.
Patient history/physical examination, monitoring of patients treatment under direct supervision of the Medical Director.
Know and abide by the general provisions of 42 CFR Part 2, “Confidentiality of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Patient Records”; and 45 CFR “Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act”. This position has unrestricted access to patient health information.
