The Interventional Technologist assists physicians during radiology procedures by scrubbing in, circulating, and procuring necessary equipment. They are responsible for producing high-quality diagnostic images while maintaining strict radiation and patient safety standards.
Candidates must be graduates of an approved Radiologic Technology program and hold ARRT and KY Radiation Operator certifications. BLS is required, and an IR Registry certification must be obtained within two years of employment.
