The RDA supports dental care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, instruments, and materials while assisting doctors during procedures. Key duties include taking x-rays, performing prophy, and instructing patients on oral hygiene.
Candidates must hold a California Registered Dental Assistant License, X-Ray Certification, Coronal Polish Certification, and current BLS certification. A certification from a dental college or related experience is required, with Spanish bilingualism preferred.

Responsibilities: Essential
include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Assists the doctor in procedures Operated x-ray equipment and takes x-rays Prophy teeth Instructs patients on oral hygiene Chart and treatment plan with doctor Sterilizes instruments Setup and prepares rooms for hygiene and treatment Take IO's Charting Sealants, if applicable
Education and/or Experience: Certification from a dental college OR 3+ months related experience and/or training OR Equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred Bilingual in Spanish, preferred Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: California Registered Dental Assistant License X-Ray Certification Coronal Polish Certification required Current BLS certification Sealant Certification, preferred
