The Dental Hygienist provides comprehensive dental care, including cleaning teeth and taking x-rays, under the supervision of a licensed dentist. They are also responsible for educating patients on oral hygiene and maintaining a sterile, safe clinical environment.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Dental Hygienist school with a current unrestricted state license. Required certifications include BLS and ACLS through the AHA, with a preference for experience in correctional facilities.
