The COTA will treat a diverse caseload of residents in a skilled nursing facility to help them regain function and independence. Responsibilities include performing transfers, providing ADL retraining, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary care team.
Candidates must hold a current Nebraska Occupational Therapy Assistant license and an associate degree from an accredited OTA program. One year of skilled nursing facility experience is preferred, but new clinicians with an interest in geriatrics are encouraged to apply.
As a COTA in a skilled nursing setting, you'll work collaboratively with the therapy team to support residents through rehabilitation, recovery, and long-term care-helping them achieve meaningful progress and improved quality of life. What You'll Do Treat a diverse caseload, including occasional clinically complex patients Perform and assist with all types of transfers Provide adaptive ADL retraining and functional task practice Collaborate closely with the evaluating OT and interdisciplinary care team Competency training is available-we're happy to support your growth in any of these areas

Current Nebraska Occupational Therapy Assistant license in good standing Associate degree from an accredited OTA program Organized, self-motivated, and patient-focused Passion for working with the geriatric population One year of SNF experience preferred, but newer clinicians with strong interest in geriatrics are encouraged to apply
