The eICU center Registered Nurse provides continuous monitoring and tele-nursing to critically ill adults across multiple ICUs. They act as a patient advocate and resource for inpatient nursing staff, focusing on decreasing ICU-related morbidity and mortality.
Candidates must have three years of recent experience as a staff nurse in adult critical care and effective communication skills. A current BLS certification and ACLS provider certification are required, with a preference for a bachelor's degree and CCRN certification.
The eICU center Registered Nurse is a member of a collaborative team who is responsible for providing continuous vigilance and tele-nursing to a diverse population of critically ill adults across multiple ICUs at various hospitals. Provides proactive, continuous monitoring, prevention, early intervention and ongoing care with the goal of decreasing ICU related morbidity and mortality. Utilizes evidenced based care and clinical decision support to guide practice. Acts as a patient advocate and resource to inpatient nursing staff.
Education: Bachelors Degree in Nursing Experience: Five years of recent experience as a staff nurse in the specialty field of adult critical care Licensure/ Certification: Current CCRN or CCRNe certification OSF HealthCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
