Ensure the health and safety of residents by providing support identified in Individual Support Plans. Assist adults with developmental disabilities with daily living activities and maintain daily case notes.
Requires a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver's license. Candidates must be compassionate and available to work weekend shifts.

Examples of Direct Support Professional responsibilities Provide supervision and guidance for residents during skill building activities Implement individual support plans for residents Assist with daily living activities, including preparing meals and assisting with personal hygiene Develop a rapport with residents and cultivate a safe and supportive relationship Update resident case notes on a daily basis Ensure an appropriate staff-to-client ratio at all times
