Collects, labels, and processes blood and other specimens while ensuring sample quality and adherence to laboratory SOPs. Performs adult, pediatric, and newborn venipuncture while maintaining patient confidentiality and safety guidelines.
Requires ASCP certification and preferably a high school diploma or GED along with completion of an accredited phlebotomy program. One year of phlebotomy experience is preferred.
Collects, labels, logs, and processes blood and other specimens. Checks quality of samples and specimens. Assembles supplies and equipment; and other duties as assigned.
