Assists physicians and nursing staff with patient care, chart management, and patient flow in a dermatology setting. Performs medical tasks including routine testing, administering injections, and assisting with minor surgical procedures.
Requires a Medical Assistant certification and completion of an accredited program or 5+ years of supervised experience. Candidates must have 5+ years of medical assisting experience, including 2+ years in a specialty, and a valid CPR certification.
Responsible for assisting physicians and nursing staff with patient care. Responsible for chart management and patient flow. Performs delegated medical tasks and may perform clerical duties. Where the electronic system is in use, this position will utilize the system as documented in the department and/or FPI standard operating procedure and process; and other duties as assigned.
