• Summary: During a hospital stay, the Chaplin provides spiritual care and guidance to patients, families and staff. In this role, you will coordinate communication between patient/family and community clergy as needed. You will also attend monthly spiritual care meetings. Within the department, you are required to serve as on-call chaplain throughout each month. The above summary is intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed in this role. REQUIREMENTS Master’s degree in related field required or working towards such degree 4 units of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) for full time positions, 2 units of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) for part time positions Candidates with 2 or more years experience as a chaplain within the healthcare field may be considered for contingent roles PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS 2 years as a chaplain in a healthcare related field APC or NACC or equivalent ProMedica is a mission-driven, not-for-profit health care organization headquartered in Toledo, Ohio.
