The Medical Assistant provides safe and efficient care to patients, assists in direct patient care, and performs treatments as directed by the provider. They are also involved in developing office workflows that support patient-centered care.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, with an associate degree or diploma in Medical Assisting preferred. A minimum of one year of experience or completion of a Medical Assistant program is required, along with Basic Life Support certification upon hire.
Monday - Friday, one evening per week and one Saturday per month.
Provides safe, therapeutic and efficient care and services to patients. Assists in direct patient care, performs treatments, administers medications (if qualified and appropriately supervised), and instructs patients and their families in appropriate care, as directed by their provider. Is an active team participant in the patient-centered practice, by aiding in the development of office workflows that support patient centered care.
