Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to diagnose and treat various medical conditions while developing individualized treatment plans. Collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate care and accurately document all patient interactions.
Requires a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies, active North Carolina licensure, and NCCPA certification. Candidates must have at least one year of Emergency Medicine experience and current BLS and ACLS certifications.
Active North Carolina licensure Board certification AHA BLS and ACLS certifications Must be enrolled in NC Medicaid and/or PECOS Minimum 1-year Emergency Medicine experience or equivalent
Education: Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) degree from an accredited program Licenses & Certifications: Active and unencumbered physician assistant (PA) license in North Carolina National certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) Experience: While specific requirements may vary, most locum APP positions prefer candidates with at least one year of experience in a clinical setting relevant to their specialty
Travel: If you reside greater than 50 miles from the facility you are eligible for travel benefits. You will have your travel and lodging arranged by our travel department and paid for in full. Please note that this position is offered as an independent contractor (1099) role and does not include the typical benefits associated with a W-2 employment, such as health insurance, retirement contributions, or paid time off.
