This position is accountable for providing competent nursing care for patients with common health problems. The nurse is expected to deliver competent patient care to a full patient assignment under the direction of the designated nurse executive.
Candidates must have graduated from an accredited nursing program and hold a valid RN license in California. Additional certifications in BLS and PALS are required within specified timeframes.

This position practices under the direction of the designated nurse executive, within the scope of the Nursing Practice Act, and in accordance with Children's polices.
Education Program Accredited nursing program (required) College Degree - 4 year Nursing (preferred) Licenses and Certifications RN - Registered Nurse License - CA-BRN - California Board of Registered Nursing (required) BLS - Basic Life Support - AHA - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire or transfer into position (required) PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support - AHA - American Heart Association within 12 months of hire or transfer into position (required) Work Experience Correlate with Clinical Ladder level (required) Skills and Abilities Bilingual Skills Preferred.
