The Scribe works under the direct supervision of a healthcare provider to obtain and document general patient care information. They are responsible for dictating reports and coordinating with various members of the healthcare team.
Candidates must have education and experience in the healthcare delivery system with a focus on medical care services. Proficiency in medical terminology, abbreviations, and strong communication skills are required.
Description A Scribe serves under direct supervision of an assigned Provider to obtain and document general patient care information.
· Education and experience in the health care delivery system with focus in Medical care services. · Medical information gathering ability as well as ability to dictate reports. · Working knowledge of medical terminology and accepted abbreviations · Communication skills and the ability to coordinate and cooperate with multiple members of the health care team.
