Requires NBCOT certification and an active, unrestricted COTA license in the State of New York. Must possess a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and CPR certification.
Position: Occupational Therapist Assistant We are looking for caring and motivated Occupational Therapist Assistants (COTAs) to join our team in all five Boroughs. Whether you’re an experienced COTA or just starting your career, we are here to support you.
Provide occupational therapy services as outlined in the established Plan of Care developed by the supervising Occupational Therapist. Assist patients in developing, improving, or restoring functions in activities of daily living (ADLs), instrumental ADLs, mobility, and safety in the home. Implement therapeutic activities, adaptive techniques, and equipment training under OT direction. Observe and document patient progress and communicate changes in condition to the supervising OT and interdisciplinary team. Participate in interdisciplinary case conferences and supervisory support as needed. Educate patients and caregivers on techniques to improve safety, independence, and function at home. Maintain accurate and timely electronic documentation in compliance with agency, state, and federal guidelines. Comply with all HIPAA regulations and policies. Travel to patient homes within assigned geographic areas as indicated. All other duties as assigned

Required: Certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) by the NBCOT.
Active and unrestricted license to practice as a COTA in the State of New York.
Previous experience in home health or geriatrics preferred but not required. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. CPR certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start). Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
