Provide direct care and residential counseling to help clients in mental health crises regain skills for independent living. Responsibilities include ensuring medication compliance, implementing service plans, and providing transportation to medical appointments.
A high school diploma or GED is required, while a bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred. Candidates must possess a valid driver's license, access to an insured vehicle, and flexibility to work various shifts.
Crisis Residential Program [https://www.sheppardpratt.org/care-finder/crisis-residential-program/] services provide short-term intensive, round-the-clock, personalized support to help stabilize someone having a mental health crisis so they can avoid hospitalization. Our teams collaborate with providers who are already involved in an individual’s treatment and works to link clients to other services offered by Sheppard Pratt or other community providers.
Position shift: Full Time Mornings Monday-Friday 7a-3p)

This is a direct care opportunity to provide support for mental health treatment. You will provide a safe and therapeutic environment that encourages the overall independence and wellbeing of your clients.
As you spend time with your clients, you will find yourself developing a rapport with your clients where you become part of their trusted support system. You will see their wins as your wins as they work their way through the program and cheer them on as they progress in their recovery.
