Perform initial and ongoing physical assessments to develop and implement personalized care plans for home health patients. Administer prescribed medications and treatments while providing essential health education to patients and their families.
Must be a Registered Nurse with current state licensure, CPR certification, and a valid driver's license with an insured vehicle. One year of home health experience is preferred, along with the ability to work weekends after an initial training period.
Valley Regional Home Health is currently seeking a part-time or full-time Registered Nurse who would be able to work Saturdays and Sundays after training. Please note: Applicants must be able and willing to train Monday through Friday for at least one month. Training hours are generally 8:00am-4:30pm, but once the employee is independent, RNs can adjust their working days, start times, and end times to provide patient care in the home environment. Our home health RNs see between 3-5 patients per day and drive between patient visits.
