Position Title

• Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN) - Full Time (FT) Department: Med/Surg Reports to: Director of Med/Surg As a Med/Surg RN at York General, you’ll play a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. • What You'll Do
• Deliver comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation)
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments as ordered
• Support patients’ daily needs including hygiene, nutrition, mobility, and comfort
• Prioritize and delegate care activities based on patient needs
• Educate patients and families, including discharge planning
• Collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary team members
• Participate in rounds and monitor patient progress through lab results and documentation
• Accurately document patient care and communicate updates effectively

• What You Need
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Nebraska
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
• Compassionate, patient-first mindset
• Attention to detail and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
