The LPN performs clinical and clerical duties including taking vital signs, drawing blood, and collecting laboratory samples. They also assist physicians during examinations and manage medical equipment and patient flow within the clinic.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and be a graduate of an approved Medical Assistant Program. At least one year of experience in a medical setting is required, with bilingual skills and computer knowledge preferred.
Under the direction and guidance of the registered nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse or Physician performs a variety of clinical/ clerical duties and tasks to provide effective patient care.
