Summit Health is seeking an Internist who would like the opportunity to expand a thriving practice within a financially secure, physician-driven, multispecialty setting. As an expansion of Summit Health’s Internal Medicine Department, we are seeking a BC/BE Internal Medicine physician to expand primary care access. You will be joining a large group of primary care physicians, supported by dedicated care team members to provide exceptional care to patients in Central Oregon. Summit Health is a physician led and professionally managed multispecialty group practice in Central Oregon with locations in Bend, Redmond, Sisters and Sunriver. Summit Health includes more than 200 providers across 40 specialties and services providing care to a growing primary care population of more than 60,000 primary care attributed lives. The medical group has become the quality of care leader in Central Oregon achieving a 4.9-star rating or better on nearly all value-based contracts, is in the upper decile for customer satisfaction and earned a perfect Medicare Quality (MIPS) score of 100 out of 100 available points for 2022 and 2025. As part of our primary care team, you’ll enjoy: A physician led and professionally managed medical group where providers drive strategy, vision and project implementation. Busy practice, high demand for IM services Advanced Practitioners assisting with clinic and inbasket support Q12 evening outpatient call Close collaboration with Summit Health’s hospitalist team, with transition of care supported by Care Managers. Epic platform with AI scribing Easy access to resources, coding and hands on Epic support Access to a multitude of specialists and surgeons in our multispecialty medical practice: Coordination of care and a shared medical record with over 30 specialties including but not limited to Pain Medicine, Endocrinology, Cardiology, Nephrology, Rheumatology Neurology, Orthopedics, infusion services and many other subspecialty and surgical services. Onsite laboratory, radiology, and other ancillary services. Comprehensive support teams for insurance authorization, billing, IT, HR, etc. Located east of the Cascade Mountains, Bend enjoys 300 days of sunshine annually, four beautiful seasons, and a wonderful high desert climate.
