The veterinarian will diagnose and treat dogs and cats, focusing heavily on dental surgeries and oral health. Responsibilities include performing consultations, prescribing medication, and educating clients on preventative care.
Candidates must hold a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree and have 2 to 5 years of experience in general medicine and surgery. A strong interest in dentistry and excellent communication skills are required.

You will primarily diagnose and treat dogs and cats. Daily responsibilities will include performing consultations, dental surgeries and medical progress exams. Provide full physical examinations and thorough oral examinations Diagnose generalized and oral diseases and recommend treatment Perform dental surgeries, routine and complicated extractions and other procedures as training progresses Prescribe medication Advise pet owners on preventative oral healthcare and pet well-being Detailed medical and dental record keeping Demonstrates initiative and mental flexibility General and Business skills Maintains a positive attitude Being a role model and leader to the staff Gets along well with staff members and other doctors Takes responsibility for all aspects of the job Demonstrates a gentle and caring approach toward all patients and clients Recognizes and approaches health issues beyond the original reason for care/visit Shows a maturity and professionalism regardless of behaviors of other staff members Makes an effort to improve skills related to building the practice Takes responsibility for "building" a client base
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree 2 to 5 years of experience and independence in general medicine and surgery Keen interest in dentistry and basic ability to perform surgical extractions Knowledge of medical equipment and anesthesia procedures Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex medical concepts in simple terms Problem-solving skills Significant advanced training will be provided in house and through well-established dental training CE programs to aid the aspiring general dental practitioner development.
