The Hospitalist provides comprehensive inpatient care for patients, managing the entire continuum of the hospital experience. This includes diagnosing and treating patients while ensuring continuity of care through coordination with outpatient providers.
Candidates must hold a Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree with extensive training in Family or Internal Medicine. A valid license to practice medicine in the state of California is required.
The Hospitalist is responsible for the provision of inpatient care of Family HealthCare patients in the hospital setting. The promotion of the Patient Centered Health Home through consistent continuity and coordination of care is a priority.
Description of Primary Attributes
1. Performance of the duties and responsibilities of the job requires the equivalent of extensive formal training in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine, including an understanding of the application of the theory and practices of the profession to the operations of the organization, usually in the form of a Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree.
Licensed to practice medicine in the state of California. Board-eligibility or certifications may be required or desired in certain positions.

$299,645.21 - $479,432.33 + PLUS SIGNIFICANT ADDITIONAL ANNUAL EARNING POTENTIAL through inpatient productivity and quality pay, generous retention payments, shift differential pay, and extra shift pay.
